PDT appoints Damian Chapman as Head of Communications and Fundraising

March 2, 2017

PDT, the Police Dependants’ Trust, has appointed Damian Chapman as their new Head of Communications and Fundraising.

Damian Chapman was Director of Fundraising and Communications at City Gateway, an organisation that helps to transform the lives of young people, children, and women in local communities by providing education or employment development programs. During his time there, Damian helped secure new funds and won a major campaign on apprenticeships with the Evening Standard. Damian was previously a Senior Corporate Development Manager at The Postal Museum.

David Fielding, Managing Partner of Attenti, who led the consultation process and the search on behalf of the PDT said, “Damian is an experienced Fundraising and Communications professional with a passion for helping local communities. We are pleased to see him take this next step in his career and we wish him the best of luck at the PDT.”

Reporting to the chairman of the PDT, Tim Jackson, and the CEO, Gill Scott-Moore, Damian will be in charge of raising the profile of the organisation and diversifying its income base.
